Lehnhardt's
Miss Bianca
|
Miss Bianca was a single kid born to Beulah Belle in 2005 and in fact, was our ONLY kid in 2005. Bianca was the first kid as a 'restart' to our herd after a long break for health reasons. With a single kid for the season, we allowed Beulah to raise Miss Bianca herself. The result was this very stylish, but very shy doe! As a single, dam-raised doeling Bianca was growing tremendously, and thus was bred young (at 7 months) to Box M Vaughn. Her doe kid from that breeding, Beryl, is in our herd today. Bianca has a very nice, very proportioned, nicely attached udder and gave a very good amount of milk for her first freshening. She has been shown several times and generally places in middle of the class. Her placings are due to her shy, nervous nature! She doesn't always travel well or fill her udder for the show ring! At home in her comfortable patterned life, she is consistently a very good producer

Lehnhardt's
Bertina
|
Bertina
and her littermate, Lincoln, both have excellent Nubian breed character
in the face and ears. She also has wonderful soft, pliable skin
which is something we have wanted to improve on. She has grown
into a lovely doeling with a nice long back, moves beautifully,
and has a quiet gentle personality. |
Her sire: Royal Blue Beaudacious
Her dam: Lehnhardt's Beulah Belle
|
Currently
Bertina is retained in our herd and is bred to Lehnhardt's Grant
for May 2007 kids. We wish to reserve the option
of keeping a doe kid from
this breeding. Deposits accepted for second doeling and/or buck
kids born.
Her littermate, Lehnhardt's Lincoln, was sold as a young buckling
and will be put to work in a Nubian herd. More information on him
will be available at a later date.

Lehnhardt's Lady Amelia
 |
Amelia is one of our 2007 kids that has been retained in the herd. She is a 50%American Saanen & 50 % Nubian crossbred. She is very dairy, angular and clean. She stands on good feet and legs and has a long, level back, wide rump and good rump angle. We are impressed with her and would like to see what she can do in the next year or two as she freshens. |
